I am D P. Originally from the Island of Mauritius, I lived in Australia with my parents for many years. I have always taken heartly pleasure in travelling, meeting people from different cultures and unraveling the mysteries which each culture has to offer. Although I have had the opportunity to travel a little there are still so many places to discover...... An old Ghanaian proverb comes to mind at this point, and it maintains that "If you do not know where you are going, any road will get you there." So here I am in Japan, a country of extremes, a culture so diverse and so different from my own..so much to learn in so little time.... Anyway, I am enjoying my experience here at NTT in the era of Information Technology, Personal Computers, Networking. I particularly enjoy meeting overseas guests upon whom the rare privilege of a visit at the Musashino Research and Development Centre showrooms is bestowed. A feeling of awesomeness overcomes them as they leave with the memories of their sojourn to Tokyo fresh in their minds. Someday I know that I too will experience this feeling as I continue on my journey to wherever that road takes me..... |
My name is S I. I belong to the Opto-electronics Laboratories and spend most of the work time struggling with the valves of vacuum evapolating instruments. As I face to machines in my work time, I like to do something related to nature which refleshes me very much. The acquaintance with Wakamatsu-san started also at the time when I joined the NTT naturalist circle. Recently I joined Wakamatsu's botanical sketching circle in lunch time there I find and learn many unexpected beauty of wild flowers to my pleasure. As I get tired with my busy life, I often sympathize with wild flowers which glow lively even though being neglected by people and I am encouraged by them. Well, I thank to be able to have happy days with a healthful family; husband, two daughters and a mother-in-law. |
